The Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association will be in action July 17th and July 18th at County Line Raceway located in Elm City , North Carolina for a event paying $5,000 to win for the SCDRA.

Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Travels To Penton Raceway February 26th-28th For The SCDRA Compact Racing World Championship

The Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association will be in action February 26th-28th at Penton Raceway located in Lafayette, Alabama for the "SCDRA Compact Racing World Championship" event paying $15,000 to win for the SCDRA.

On Thursday February 26th the race program for the SCDRA will include open practice for all competitors.

On Friday February 27th the race program for the SCDRA will include time trails and heat races.

On Saturday February 28th the race program for the SCDRA will include LCQ's and the 60 lap feature paying $15,000 to win along with $300 to start.

The entry for the event will be $200. There will be a $250 fast time award curtsey of Jason Waters Tuning along with a $250 long haul award curtsey of Merry's Home Furnishings.

Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Presented By Schaeffer's Oil Night Of Champions Rescheduled To February 14th

The SCDRA has made the decision to postpone the Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Night of Champions to February 14th due to the weather and travel concerns.

The 2025 SCDRA Night of Champions presented by John Windham Racing Engines and Hide N Seek Towing will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 6-9 PM at Great Wolf Lodge located at 10175 Weddington Road in Concord North Carolina 28027.

If you have rooms at Great Wolf you will need to call and change the date of your reservations. After discussion with the venue, the February 14th date was the only viable option for the reschedule date.

The Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association touring membership period is open. Membership is $100 until January 31st. After January 31st, it increases to $125. This touring membership now covers all three series and includes the national weekly membership. 2025 Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Presented By Schaeffer's Oil Night Of Champions

The 2025 Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Presented By Schaeffer's Oil Night of Champions is scheduled for January 24, 2026 at Great Wolf Lodge located at 10175 Weddington Road, in Concord North Carolina 28027. Banquet tickets are on sale with a January 1, 2026 deadline.

The 2025 SCDRA Night of Champions presented by John Windham Racing Engines and Hide N Seek Towing will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 6-9 PM at Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, North Carolina. SCDRA will present trophies and prizes for the top 10 in SCDRA Touring points as well as the top 3 in National Weekly Points and several special awards. Night of Champions will also have some awesome door prizes, plenty of witty banter and some great food. Parking at Great Wolf will be free for attendees.

Reid Christensen Crowned 2025 Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Presented By Schaeffer's Oil Tour Champion

The 2025 points season for the Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour has come to a close and as the season ended for the Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour Reid Christensen of Springfield, Georgia was crowned the 2025 Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour champion.

In ten completed events Christensen placed two wins, six top five finishes, and seven top ten finishes with the Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour. Consistency was key to Christensen capturing the 2025 Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour championship and earning $2,000 for his efforts.

The final top five competitors in the Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour point standings included Reid Christensen (282 PTS), Michael Crouch (272 PTS), Andrew Smith (272 PTS), Newman Presnell (258 PTS), and Kayden Presnell (249 PTS).

Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Travels To Beckley Motor Speedway October 24th-25th

The Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association will travel to Beckley Motor Speedway located in Mount Hope, West Virginia October 24th-25th for the "Compact Clash" event paying $10,000 to win.

On Friday October 24th the race program for SCDRA competitors will consist of

q ualifying and heats. Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 4:00 PM. Drivers meeting is scheduled for 5:30 PM. On track action is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

On Saturday October 25th the race program for SCDRA competitors will consist of

B-Mains, LCQ, and the 60 lap feature. Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 4:00 PM. Drivers meeting is scheduled for 5:30 PM. On track action is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

There will be $500 to win non-qualifiers race with 20 cars starting for 12 laps. The winner has the option to take the money or tag the tail of the feature.

The top 5 drivers will be locked in from qualifying. Number of heats, b-mains and transfers will be based on car count. 28 or 29 car starting field for the feature.

Yellow Westhold Transponders - Rentals available at registration.

Entry Fee: $150

Camping with full hookups available $55 per day.

You DO NOT have to be an SCDRA Member to enter this event!

All cars must complete pre-race safety tech prior to going on track.

Slight Schedule Change For SCDRA At Dixie Speedway; One Day Show Saturday August 30th

The $5,000 to win SCDRA Dixie Compact Shootout will move to a one day only show on Saturday, August 30th for this years event. Dixie needed to make this change for some logistical issues they are having for the weekend.

Saturday will see SCDRA drivers have hot laps, qualifying, B-Mains, and a 40 lap feature event. "We love this show and we really like having it for two days but this year we have had some things come up that will just make the one day show on Saturday as our best option. We are really excited about having those guys back as they always put on a great show here at Dixie." said Dixie's Mia Green.

County Line's Compact Chaos Event Postponed Amid Unfavorable Forecast

County Line Raceway and SCDRA Officials have made the difficult decision to postpone the Compact Chaos event which was scheduled for July 18th and 19th. Both days have local forecasts with a high probability of potentially heavy rain fall.

"We hate to cancel, but I think it's the right thing to do. We fully understand the significant financial risks involved for these race teams. And though it could still change, we can't take that chance with so many teams that would be traveling in. We are going to work with the series to see if there is a suitable make up date available later this year. And if not, we will certainly be rescheduling for 2026." said County Line Promoter Brenda Holcombe.

"We always do our best to make the best decisions we can to protect both the racers and the tracks. We have monitored the weather since the end of last week and it has trended worse almost daily. And although it's disappointing, I agree with Brenda that this is probably the best decision we can make. But I appreciate the fact that she wants to make sure we get CLR rescheduled in the future." added SCDRA Director Kelley Carlton.

Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association National Weekly Championship Update

Chris Vannausdle continues to cut into Tyler Hopkins lead on the SCDRA National Weekly Championship standings. Vannausdle has cut the margin to just 31 points having run two less races than the current points leader. Once all drivers get to the 15 race mark the points picture will become much clearer as the championship is based on a driver's best 15 finishes.

Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association National Weekly Championship Update

After weekend number three of SCDRA Weekly Championship racing and with only two tracks in action this past weekend (County Line Raceway and Beckley Motor Speedway) there wasn't a lot of movement among the top 10 in SCDRA National Weekly Points. Several tracks should be back in action this weekend if they can catch a break in the weather. There is still time to become a member and compete for this championship. Remember that it is based on your best 15 finishes from April 1 to Oct 31.

After weekend number one of SCDRA Weekly Championship racing Justin Stephens finds himself atop the standings after picking up a win at Sumter Speedway. Just 14 drivers collected points on the weekend. Drivers get registered up as a member so you are eligible for SCDRA Weekly Championship points. Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Announces National Weekly Championship In 2025

The Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association Announces is excited to announce the SCDRA National Weekly Championship in 2025. This is something the SCDRA has thought about for quite a while now. The SCDRA will be introducing the SCDRA National Weekly Championship in 2025.

Member drivers will be eligible to compete for a trophy, jacket, and prizes based on their best 15 finishes in (non-touring) weekly events. SCDRA promoters are working on a sponsor to add a payout as well but the above items are guaranteed and everyone knows the SCDRA goes all out on trophies.

Tracks will be required to report finishes, schedule the class twice per month at a minimum (Special event facilities would be required to run them at a minimum of 50% of their scheduled events), declare their track as SCDRA sanctioned, follow SCDRA rules, and pay a very small annual sanction fee which will offset the cost of administration.

The hope is that this does 4 things:

1. Grow the class at weekly tracks.

2. Grow our membership.

3. Give our racers more options of places to race at.

4. Give our racers who cannot travel the opportunity to race for an SCDRA championship.

The SCDRA just wanted to try to do something to help local tracks and racers. Tracks that are interested should contact Kelley Carlton at kelcarms@gmail.com or call (864) 871-1442. This is available to any race track in the United States. The SCDRA is currently working with our other regions as well in this effort.

Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association 2024 Season Night Of Champions Banquet March 1, 2025

The Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association 2024 season night of champions banquet will be held on March 1, 2025 at Copper Cellar Catering (Calhoun's Village) located at 1004 Parkway, Suite 861 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee 37738. Tickets will be $35 for Adults with ages 10 and under free. Tickets will go on sale starting February 1, 2025 with a February 21, 2025 deadline. Tickets will include the night of champions ceremonies and food catered by Speedway BBQ. Banquet doors will open at 6:00 PM.

- When you turn off of Parkway into Calhoun's Village just keep driving through the shops and all the way to the back. You will see a sign for Calhouns Catering.

- When you arrive and park find a sign that has the QR code on it and go through the full process of paying to park on the Metropolis page - including picking a time and entering credit card info. Once inside the venue there is another QR code that will validate your parking and will prevent you from being charged.

DO NOT SKIP THIS PROCESS - GATLINBURG IS VERY STRICT ON PARKING ENFORCEMENT AND WILL TOW YOUR VEHICLE IF ITS NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM.
